The body of the cooker is made using plastic injection molding method. LED light indicators give the user a visual indication of the cooking status and the pot come covered in Teflon to keep the thermoduric plastic and glass inside safe. The cooker is composed of four main components with an electric supply port, a wall mounted unit, a cooking pit and a cover that doubles up as a measuring cup. Depending on the amount of food and taste preference, the cooker can automatically set the temperature, time and cooking program.

Once you have filled the cooker with required food contents, you can even set it to cook via an online app so you can get a hot meal when you get home. What makes the Tastemaker Pilaf Rice Cooker really special is the fact that the wall mounted unit keeps supplying electricity to the cooker even after the meal is ready to keep it warm until the user is ready to have it. The deep sea explorer is designed to take scientists almost everywhere under the sea. The craft is designed to navigate under the surface of the earth vertical like a sea horse though it is deployed into the water horizontally. With extensive input from the Hollywood director, the craft was designed and developed by Design + Industry, an Australian industrial design firm.

For its maiden voyage, the tiny spherical cockpit played host to Cameron who was equipped with a muesli bar and a banana for the trip since the craft needed to be fitted with a lot of high tech gear to make it fully operation in deep sea conditions. The submarine was heralded to eh base of Mariana Trench, the deepest spot on the earth’s surface and the craft was geared for relative ease of use and comfort of travelers and the cockpit layout was coordinated to incorporate minimal weight and maximum safety within the restricted space.

To simulate the cockpit layout, many mock ups and prototypes were developed and built by Design + Industry with the Acheron Project’s team headed by Ron Allum. To ensure optimum maneuverability when Cameron reached the incredible depths and during accent, the vessel was designed to shrink and expand and the entire cockpit design was designed to handle these extreme pressures.

Complex control assemblies, condensation, fire proofing management and other technical challenges were dealt with using leading edge design tools and materials and the project was finished in record time thanks to the labor and focus of the highly skilled Australian manufacturers.
