E-GO2 is an electric powered vehicle that is balanced on two wheels placed side by side and supported by electronic systems. An excellent effort has been made to reduce the dimensions of the vehicle to an extent that it takes up only one square meter of space. The vehicle will be available as a public transportation system on rental basis. This new approach for transportation is a nice move in the direction to reduce toxic wastes by providing public convenience.

Using these cars is as easy as it seems. You need not own this car, just simply go out to the nearest street with Rent&Go system access and hire the car using your credit card. Take the car to the any desired destination within the city and return the vehicle at specific holding points available nearby. This ecological vehicle provides a whole new approach to roam around in the town without being responsible for creating carbon footprints.

Prisma streetlamps interact with the environment in a lively way

    Shallu Sharma:

Innovative designers with their imaginative minds have added creativity to almost every object that we encounter throughout the day, be it any household object or public furniture. The creative design that we are talking about here is of street lamp that interacts with its environment to fulfill urban needs. Unlike typical streetlamps that stay rigid, these street lamps come with flexibility and freedom to interact with their surroundings. The project has been termed as Prisma (prism) and works by projecting three beams of light in different directions.

    PRISMA

    PRISMA Urban Lighting

The orientation of the beam is customizable and could be manipulated by 30 degree inclined head in either direction. The dynamic street light works on LEDs capable of generating light in 360 degrees that too in different colors and intensities. Each pole is operated by a main server that can be accessed wirelessly via software.

The most interesting part of these lamps is that they could be rented out for special occasions like parades, festivals, ceremonies etc. In such cases a password can be created for programming and interacting with the lights and its access could be given to the community members. These street lamps are powered using solar panels fitted at the sides of the lamp head. These solar panels not only juice up the street lights but also power the rotation mechanism exhibited by the lamp.

Bertone presents sports car of the future

    Abhradeep Majumder:

Nuccio Concept, the brand new car by Gruppo Bertone is named after Bertone’s famous designer and constructor Nuccio Bertone. This car also has the motive of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the company and conveying its independence. Following the company’s usual norms, the concept is fully functional catered by a 4.3 liter V8 mid-engine design, which favors the weight distribution thereby making the car more efficient.

    Nuccio Concept
    Nuccio Concept

The car is based on a low and edgy muscular looks with mono-volume architecture that is similar to the few other creations of Bertone like the Alfa Romeo Carabo, the Lamborghini, etc. Though the car carries forward some of its old traditions which are present on its concepts, but the mono-volume concept has been pushed and improvised taking it to a totally new level and making it the most unique and singular amongst the other cars.

The powerful design is conceptualized by the designer team headed by Mike Robinson. This sports car portrays wedge-shape and muscular outlook gathering its resemblance with the Stratos Zero, which is large but narrows at the base and looks like a trapezium. The graphics applied are also similar to the one in Stratos Zero, officially called “eyes of the crocodile”. This car has also implemented the “twin peaks” design, where the first peak is the highest point of the roof while the second peak is behind the first. When these two peaks are visualized from front it looks like the car is optically jutting forward.

    Picture Gallery
    Nuccio Concept
    Bertone Nuccio Concept

The roof of the car is also unique and is invigorated by the advance guard construction used in advanced architecture. Nuccio’s ductile structure which is lighter and stronger than the other conventional cars is being introduced for the first time in the automobile industry. To emphasize the excellent work of innovation the color orange which was also a favorite color for Mr. Bertone has been used to paint the roof. The body is treated with the contrasting gray color and coated with a transparent shade of Bronze. The graphics used all over the car clearly portrays the intention of the company to renovate the traditional and predictable graphic designs of its earlier cars. The front brake light, which has been patented by the company, serves as a safety measure as when the car is braking, the front light increases indicating everyone around that the car is slowing down.

The interior of the car looks like a classy sports car. The center cabinet has a tall armrest and extends up to the controller or instruments panel in a tilted plane where all controls and instruments are installed. The start and stop switches are also present in the center console. The advanced transmission placed under the steering wheel avoids the need for a shift lever on console. The seats are made from bright orange leather. For the rear visions the installation of a camera is done that projects the rear view of the road on a 26” screen placed behind the seats. The screen is visible to the driver with the reflex of the screen in a rear view mirror hanging from the windshield.

This car also is a tribute to Nuccio, the husband of Mrs Lilli Bertone who had promised her husband on the evening of Geneva motor show in 1917 that she would always carry the company by his name. The Nuccio Concept therefore serves as a replica of her promise.

Terremo Case: A natural disaster response suitcase by Ryan Godolphin

It can get a little difficult to find clean water in a disaster struck area. To face all such situations, Terromo Case also has a water purification kit. These water purification tablets will make water consumable by sterilizing this liquid. The suitcase will also have sealable plastic bags that will be helpful when it comes to disposing human waste or for water collection/contaminant/condensing. Proper tools are required to help a person trapped under rubble or some kind of a building. Proving to be of utmost help in this case will be the Stanley FUBAR as it features a pry bar, hammer, nail puller, gas valve spanner and wrench.

The absence of a proper light source is quite common in troubled areas. But, a portable wind up torch will provide enough light even when dusk sets in. Apart from this, the presence of a portable wind up radio will make sure no one misses emergency broadcasts as well as information about getting relief services. Another thing that can’t be ignored during such a situation is a First Aid kit and in this case it will contain plasters, bandages, scissors, antiseptics, gloves, tweezers, eye wash fluid and First Aid guide book. Terromo Case, with all the essentials will make sure that a traveler doesn’t feel helpless when away from home and family.

    HYQUATOR Solar-Powered Device

The HYQUATOR not only kills the pathogens present in the source water but also prevents their regrowth, leaving a sterilized residual that makes safe drinking water available to all. This device does not need any additional chemical constituent to work with and is simply power-driven by solar panels or it can also be powered by a battery. It generates sodium hypochlorite, a chlorine composite, from water and salt, which evaporates within a few minutes after the procedure is complete.

The device is microprocessor controlled and will be endowed with special sensors that will quantify the ecological stricture. The device will also notify when the disinfection process is over and when the water is clean and safe for drinking. It works well in the water that is murky and has a high level of suspended solids; it has the capacity to disinfect hundred glasses of water at a single battery charge, by either killing or inactivating the microorganisms present in the muddy water.

This project will definitely ensure pure drinking water for all, so if you believe that you as a responsible citizen can make a difference by pooling in a few bucks, just go for it and be a part of this project to see the difference it makes.

It is an elegant and stylish hanging chair that can be hung in a place of your choice, promising comfort and relaxation. It has an arresting visual impact and an almost spectacular look. You can hang this comfortable chair in the garden from any sturdy and tough surface.

The Manu Nest stands extraordinary for its attractively complicated design. The fact that this chair is made out of lava rocks takes it to greater heights.
